Hornchurch, England: A year has made all the difference for Joe Lashley. When he and Ben Bryan met last year, Lashley out-boxed the old man but took too many hard shots during the bout and lost a close decision. The second fight was anything but close.
Bryan took the second round when Lashley failed to land a single punch and the eleventh which was won handily by Lashley but given to the champion for reasons known only to the referee. That was it for Ben. Lashley dominated every aspect of the fight landing three blows for every one from Bryan, scoring two knockdowns and leaving both of Big Ben's eyes badly swollen. The fact that Bryan remained upright straight through the final bell proved that he has a heart the size of a ham but all other skills have now departed.
Lashley will next fight former World Champ Thomas Owen who has a 16-5-2 record and should pose much more of a threat than the rapidly aging Bryan.

In a rousing shock to the London Prize ring, first-timer Pug Seabrook belted Inniskillin Dragoon into submission over nine short rounds. The victory allowed Seabrook to claim the English Middleweight title and sets up an easy plum to be picked by one of the veteran men.
